Let me introduce myself! My name is Allie and I'm a graphic designer and I am obsessed with pretty things (the first step is admitting it, right!?). Not a day goes by where I don't have that I'm-totally-in-love-have-to-have-it-gut-retching feeling. And that feeling can strike at any moment... paper stores? Kate Spade? Hell I've even had the feeling at Whole Foods (what can I say, beautiful packaging makes my knee's weak). It's been a problem I've been battling my entire life. My mom says I've never met a store I didn't like. I'd have to agree. So this blog is basically going to be a therapy session for my pretty-shinny-things-obession.
Not entirely sure what type of design will live on this blog. Being a designer I'm a bit obsessed with visual perfection and find myself gravitating to the best designed blogs rather then the more intellectually stimulating. I've realize through this process I really have a commitment issue. This blog name? Took a year to finalize. The design? Took months to realize it's going to have to be a metamorphose, a continuous process to the final look and feel. I'm treating it like a child, you can name it but you won't know it's full potential & personality until it's grown up! (weird i know i know).
Anyways the only thing I can say officially about this blog is that it's going to be a collection of all my favorite things... so lets get started!
